MaximBet Announces US Sportsbook Closure
MaximBet has announced that it is closing US services and that consumers have until December 15th to withdraw funds, after which remaining credits will be sent via check to players' registered addresses. MaximBet has already ceased trading and is not accepting any new bets or deposits, but it will settle any pre-existing bets until the cut-off date.

Maryland Awards 10 Mobile Sportsbook Licenses
This week Maryland's Sports Wagering Application Review Commission has issued ten licensees to applicants ahead of the official market launch. Operators include BetMGM, BetRivers, DraftKings, Caesars, Parx, FanDuel, Barstool, and PointsBet. However, this doesn't permit sites to start accepting wagers, as the last prep step and final approval still need to be undertaken by licensees. Caesars has already taken advantage of the approval, launching their app and allowing players to sign up and deposit but not lay bets.

Survey Shows NJ Residents Against Further Casino Expansion
In an informative survey conducted by Fairleigh Dickinson University, NJ residents have shown a 51% majority is against further casino expansion in the state, while 37% support expansion outside of Atlantic City.
Dan Cassino, Professor of Government and Politics and Executive Director of the survey, said, "Competition from new casinos opening soon in New York City and the endless search for new sources of revenue mean that there's a lot of pressure to open new casinos in Jersey… But if the state wants those casinos, they're going to have to change a lot of minds."
To approve casino expansion, there'd need to be a vote and constitutional amendment. This was attempted in 2016 and failed by 77%.
Slot Game of the Week
It's time to get down to the serious business of discussing which slot game you should be spinning this weekend.
Amazon Kingdom: RTP 94.23%.
Amazon Kingdom is a highly volatile game themed on the Aztecs Amazon Kingdom. Set on 5x3 reels with 30 lines, it delivers max wins of 5,000x your stake and features including expanding wilds, which can appear on every reel; a queen's bonus game; and super free spins, with multipliers.
Unlike other slots, instead of triggering the bonus rounds by hitting 3+ bonus symbols simultaneously, in Amazon Kingdom, you'll collect bonus symbols in the corresponding meter along the left and right side of the reels, meaning every symbol adds up for all-out action on the reels!
You can take this title for a spin at DGC Casinos from 20 cents up to $50 a round. To check out other new games while you're there, just hit the new games tab in the main lobby and take your pick!
