MGM Get Clearance for LeoVegas Takeover
MGM Resorts International has got regulator clearance for its proposed LeoVegas acquisition, which was agreed upon in May this year. MGM expects the acquisition to go through on September 7th. The purchase is part of MGM’s strategic goals for a global presence.

Michigan’s Gambling Market Hits Back
After three months of consecutive revenue decline, the Michigan market is hitting back with a combined online betting and casino revenue of $148.2m for July, 8% higher than in June and up 32.4% on July 2021. Online casino saw the highest YoY growth with a 37.2% increase. Meanwhile, sports betting grew by 10.2%.

Kansas Sets Legal Betting Launch for September 1st
It’s been a big week for Kansas as Governor Laura Kelly has announced that licensed operators can accept their first bets from September 1st. With excitement levels riding high in the state ahead of next week’s launch, Governor Kelly said;

US Tribal Gaming Revenue Hit Records for 2021 Revenue
The National Indian Gaming CommSeptember 1stas released revenue figures showing a record-breaking year for 2021, with total revenue hitting $39bn. This is a 40% increase on 2020 and 13% more than in 2019. As well as hitting records for total revenue, the year-on-year growth is also the largest recorded.
