PA Market Blooms YoY for August
PA total gaming revenue is up a whopping 31.3% on last year’s figures for August. Slots accounted for more than half of the revenue, with tables in second and online slots in third place. Parx Casino, Hollywood, and Penn National came in first, second, and third place for the top-earning casinos. In total online gambling has grown 58.7% on last year with the front runners Hollywood and Rivers Casinos.
Americans Show Increasingly Positive Attitudes Towards Gambling - AGA
This year’s AGA’s Annual Survey of American Attitudes on Casino Gaming has revealed increasingly positive attitudes within the US towards gambling.
Findings revealed:
- Two-thirds of adults view the industry as a positive economic contributor that provides high-quality jobs, and 73 percent support legalized sports betting in their state.
- Nearly 7 in 10 Americans believe the gaming industry behaves responsibly and a majority (57%) believe the industry gives back to the communities where it operates.
